MandrakeSoft is seeking high-level Unix programmers. Our current needs include:

  • Kernel hacker

    • Profile: high-level Linux kernel hacker. Good experience is needed.

    Plus: having already contributed some patches/drivers to the Linux kernel, participating to the Linux-kernel list, other experiences with other Unices.

    Salary: depending on the profile

    Stock options: yes

    Work place: California (USA) or France.

  • Project manager

    • Profile: high-level Unix project manager. Good experience in leading project at big software makers is needed.

    Plus: very good human relationships, interest in the Linux/Free Software culture.

    Salary: depending on the profile

    Stock options: yes

    Work place: France.

  • Unix Programmer

    • Profile: good level in C/C++/Shell scripting/Perl and more generally Unix

    Plus: good knowledge in RPM packaging.

    Salary: depending on the profile

    Stock options: to be negotiated

    Work place: California (USA) or France.

  • Applications Programmer

    • Profile: good level in C/C++/Gtk+/Qt/Newt

    Plus: good knowledge in RPM packaging.

    Salary: depending on the profile

    Stock options: yes

  • Graphist

    • Profile: experience in software/icon artwork

    Plus: knowledge in Linux and interest in the Linux/Free Software

    Salary: depending on the profile
