How to burn a Mandrake CD from an iso9660 file under Windows?
By Laurent Daniel Sinitambirivoutin]

1) First, download the mandrake.iso file: check the the Mandrake site (http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/ftp.html) to find where.

2) Then you must use a CD-burner soft. Here I will talk about: WinOnCD and Easy CD Creator.

2.1) WinOnCD

First, run the program. You must get something like:

Select "Raw data". It leads you to this screen:

Just drag the "mandrake.iso" file and drop it on the "Raw data" line.

That's all! Now you just have to start recording by clinking on the second button from the la right or by using the "record" menu.

2.2) Easy CD Creator

Here it's more simple: Easy associates itself with the ".iso" file extention. You just have to double-click on the "mandrake.iso" file to run Easy CD Creator. Just click on "ok" and wait for your CD to be burned.

3) Now you can install your new Linux distribution and enjoy the power of Linux and KDE.
