Several lists are available at Mandrake:
You can subscribe to any discussion list by sending an email to sympa@linux-mandrake.com with "subscribe listName" in the body of the message.
You can similarly unsubscribe to any list by sending an email to sympa@linux-mandrake.com with "unsubscribe listName" in the body of the message.
In both cases, "listName" would be the name of the list you wish to subscribe or unsubscribe to.
Example: "unsubscribe cooker"
Please make sure the email adress in your mail utility is the same you would
like the list to use.
When unsubscribing to a list you MUST use the same email address that was used to subscribe.
If you would like more information about a list, you can send an email to sympa@linux-mandrake.com with "info listName" in the body of your message.
Support Lists
These lists can be used for free support:
The first list, newbie@linuxmandrake.com is for beginners.
There is also a list for more experienced users : expert@linuxmandrake.com.
These lists exists in english, french and italian.
NOTE FOR SPAMMERS: all spam messages will be forwarded to various anti-spam organizations. Spammers and spam-relays will also be sued by MandrakeSoft SA for illegal activities.

There are several lists for open Linux-Mandrake development:

Security lists
Security holes are fixed as soon as possible when they are discovered. Most of the new packages can easily be upgraded just by running ``MandrakeUpdate'' regularly. We provide two lists on this topic:

You can be informed for each security fix by subscribing to our security-announce mailling-list: just type your email adress in in the form below to subscribe.
You can also subscribe by sending an email to sympa@linux-mandrake.com with "SUB security-announce" without the quotes in the body of the message.
