Linux-Mandrake Downloads

You must at least download the "Mandrake/" and "images/" trees from the "7.1/" directory. It's about 1 Gig.
Iso9660 images of Linux-Mandrake are also available. You can use such files for easy CD-burning (under Windows, you can use Easy CD Pro or Easy CD Creator, check our notice here). Under Linux, see our Demo pages. The first file is about 650 Mb and the second one nearly 350 Mb.
We are looking for new mirrors. If you could setup a mirror please use our primary mirror or this one for rsync and contact the maintainer of this page mirrors@linux-mandrake.com
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- There are two ISO images files for Mandrake 7.1 available in the "iso/" directory. One is called mandrake71-inst.iso and the other mandrake71-ext.iso which is the extention CD. You can install a working system with only the first CD but the second one brings more applications. These iso images work and are speed-optimized for i586 (Pentium class) processors and higher. The iso mirror list is available here
- There is another ISO image file called mandrake70-2.i486.iso. - it works for i486 processors and higher. The mirror list is available here
- There is third ISO image file called mandrake71.usparc.iso. - it works for UltraSPARC processors and higher. It's still BETA software. The mirror list is available here
- There is another ISO image file called mandrake70.alpha.iso. - it works on digital Alpha processors. It also still BETA software. The mirror list is available here
