The Boat Club, which is the largest sporting club in the College, is open to all members of Churchill College -- undergraduate students, postgraduate students and fellows. Churchill crews compete in University races throughout the year on the river Cam, including the famous Bumps races in March and June. Churchill crews also take part in major races around England like the Head of the River Race, the Henley Royal Regatta and the Henley Women's Regatta. Whether you are interested in rowing competitively or for fun, the Churchill College Boat Club has a crew for you. And if you have never rowed before you get to Cambridge, don't worry... Churchill novice crews compete in novice races against other Colleges in Michaelmas term, and by Lent term, you will have learned sufficient skills to be part of a senior crew.
