Prem Dhawan writes and composes the Rafi perennial ‘Agar bewafaa tujhko...’ from the suspense thriller Raat Ke Andhere Mein.

O.P. Nayyar teams up with Pradeep in Sambandh and yields his biggest hit with Mukesh, ‘Chal akela...’, apart from ‘Andhere mein jo baithe hai...’, ‘Akeli hoon main...’ and ‘Yeh khushi leke main kya karoon...’

Ravi’s ‘Yeh parda hataa do...’ for Ek Phool Do Mali, another hit score for mentor Devendra Goel, is a super-hit, and the film also boasts of ‘Tujhe suraj kahoon ya chanda...’, ‘Sajana sajana o sajana...’, ‘Saiyyan le gayi jiya...’,‘O nanhe se farishte...’ and ‘Aulaadwaalon phoolon phalo...’. The theme song, ‘Qismat ke khel niraale mere bhaiyya...’ is composed, written and sung by Ravi.

Ravi also scores hits for Anmol Moti (‘Ae jaan-e-chaman...’, ‘Motiyon ki sej...’ and ‘Sehmi sehmi kahin chali...’) , Doli (‘Daanton tale dabaakar honth...’, ‘Kisne saath nibhaya...’, ‘Doli chadke dulhan...’, ‘Sajna saath nibhana...’ and ‘Aaj main dekhoon jidhar jidhar...’), Badi Didi (‘Sajana kal main dekha ek sapna...’ and ‘Paayal bajaati chali ho kahaan...’) and Paisa Ya Pyar (‘Ber le ber...’).

Madan Mohan composes delicious Lata numbers like ‘Teri aankhon ke siva...’ (with another version by Rafi), ‘Bhor hote kaaga...’ and ‘Chhayi barkha bahaar...’ in Chirag, which also has Rafi’s ‘Chirag dil ka jalaao...’

Hemant Kumar’s own production Khamoshi is studded with evergreens like ‘Tum pukar lo...’ (also composed and sung by Hemantda) and another Kishore hit for Rajesh Khanna, ‘Woh shaam kuchh ajeeb thi...’ Lata Mangeshkar’s ‘Humne dekhi hai unn ankhon ki mehekti khushboo...’ is brilliantly tuned and sung.

In Rahgir, the Hemant-Gulzar combo yields the hit Hemant-rendered theme song, ‘Janam ka banjara hoon bandhu...’

Chitragupta is at low-key in Pyar Ka Sapna, noted only for the Lata-Rafi hit ‘Ae meri zindagi...’ l
