Rainfall occurred at isolated places over south interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka.
Chief rainfall amounts (cm): Yelandur (CR Nagar dt) 4; Kollegal (CR Nagar dt) 2; T Narasipur (Mysore dt), CR Nagar 1 each.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at most places over south interior Karnataka; above normal at most places over north interior Karnataka and at a few places over coastal Karnataka.
Raichur recorded maximum temperature of 42.6 degree celsius in the State.
Forecast valid until the Monday morning: Light to moderate rain may occur at isolated places over all the districts of south interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of coastal Karnataka and north interior Karnataka.
Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected.
