Noted painter M F Husain painting cricket figures on a nine-foot bat during the live telecast of the World Cup match between India and New Zealand at the inauguration of the Gajagamini Arts Club at Koramangala in Bangalore on Friday. Later the bat was auctioned for Rs 7.1 lakh. The buyer was Kalpana Shah of TAO, the contemporary art gallery of Mumbai.
