Making helmets mandatory
|

mandatory for both two-wheeler riders and those riding pillion has
received bouquets and brickbats. While some appreciate the State’s
concern for the safety of citizens, others find the hands of a helmet
lobby behind the move. Some readers want pillion riders to be exempted
and are worried about hair loss and other inconveniences that the
helmets might spell.
