Money Smart
Since 2001, the Chicago Public Library (CPL) has been partnering with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to present Money Smart financial literacy programs. What started as the annual Money Smart Week each May, has blossomed into educational programming throughout the year at CPL locations across the city. This series offers Chicagoans an opportunity to understand the business of money, gain control of their finances and learn overall wealth management.
The Money Smart partners include community groups, financial institutions, government departments and schools, all presenting educational activities to promote financial awareness. For more information, visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Money Smart Week website.
