- Please read through our How Do I section — we may have already answered your question. Use the search box in the green bar at the top of this page to search the online catalog or website — a few key words or an exact phrase in quotation marks are all you need.
- Use the Ask A Librarian form to submit an email reference question to the professional reference staff at the Chicago Public Library where you will receive a reply within two business days.
- You can view your Chicago Public Library account by clicking on the My CPL tab. Here you will see your library card renewal date and information on materials that you have on hold, checked out or overdue. This is also where you can renew library materials that are eligible for renewal. If you need additional assistance with your library card account please call or visit your local library.
