A letter to the editors in the Seattle Times on May 18, 2006 revealed one writer capsulizing what has happened during this Republican led Administration:

"We have a Congress, Republican and Democrat, in advanced stages of ethical, moral, and spiritual rot, which is why the polls rank its members below used car salesmen and George Bush.

"There is the dangerous confluence of right wing Christianity and right wing capitalism promoting an un-Christian social and economic Darwinism."

Frank Chesley of Seattle wrote this perfect analysis of our current government.  There are more lobbyists chasing around Washington than there are members of Congress.  Their big business backers know what it takes to get the favorable votes they seek.
