| Description: | A refinement of the node ring technology that allows more efficient nodeline access resulting in higher speed jumps. It is the first of the two Human strategic movement upgrades. It increases the cost of a section, but the speed difference can make a huge difference in tight situations. |

| Effect: | Increases Strategic Speed. Allows ship designs to include the Focused Node Fission Section, Focused Node Pulse Fission Section, Focused Node Fusion Section or the Focused Node Antimatter Section. It takes 90 seconds in Tactical Combat before a Node Focusing Node Drive is ready and retreat is possible. |
