he winners of the Indibloggies 2006 awards, the only such honour in India that rewards consistent and creative blogs, were declared recently. The awards are in their fourth year and were given away in 16 categories, including design, entertainment, science/technology and sports. The awards also recognise work done in Indian languages, and this year had approximately 750 nominations, across categories.

The best IndiBlog of the year award went to 'Random thoughts of a demented mind’ (greatbong.net), while the Best Topical IndiBlog went to 'Atanu Dev on India’s Development’ (deesha.org).
