Gameplay Summary

Humans are the fastest race at starting the game in Sword of the Stars, which makes them an excellent choice for learning the strategic gameplay, or for fast, intense games. Humans are an excellent all-rounder race with little overall specialisation- all you need to keep in mind their blazingly fast, uninterceptable node drive for FTL travel, a slight lack of weapons on their ships due to their complex FTL drive systems, and the lack of overt specialisation.

As long as you don't mind slightly weaker ships in tactical combat or the lack of specialisation, the Humans of Sword of the Stars are an excellent choice to play.
