Multiple Uses, Well Designed I bought a made in the USA trailer last year from a National Home Improvement chain (hint logo is blue & white). The trailer was made from angle iron and mesh. The trailer was painted, less than six months later the paint was cracking with rust everywhere! The trailer fell apart, the frame bent and the mesh broke loose. This was used only to carry our motorcycle on long trips. We sold at a garage sale for cheap.Based on this bad experience we spent a great deal of time looking for a REAL motorcycle trailer that would handle our 1,000 bike but could also be used for other hauling chores. Long story short, we ended up seeing this trailer at a rally, the owner of the trailer showed us all the features, recessed chocks, pull out triple wide 5' ramp, 2 ft. drop front gate (we put 48" chest on it) powder coat finish, etc...We contacted UtilityMate online and they referred us to Walmart.com to purchase the trailer. It took 1-2 hours to assemble, but WOW was it worth it...BEST VALUE in our mind and WE LOVE IT!!! 04/20/2012
I want everyone to know these trailers are made in China. It doesn't say anything on the main product page and I did not realize it until I went to put the box in Recycling, too late to returnthe already assembled and used trailer. I know that a lot of products are not available "Made in USA" but there are PLENTY of good American trailer companies and you should buy one of theminstead and support our country. 01/29/2012
