The piece of mind is someone will be there to help in any situation.I could use the device to summon energeny people or 911 for someone in an accident or the such.A great piece of mind! 10/30/2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ritzetz I took it back. They don't tell you when they advertise it, that you have to pay aprox $45. for the equipment & then a $25. activation fee. Too much + it does not work well to wear around your neck & that is what you need to do, it is too big for that. 12/13/2012
