Rated 5 out of 5 by Beckster28 Favorite vacuum I have ever owned!!! I initially bought the lower-end Bissell Powergroom, and instantly returned it. It felt cheaply made, and while it was the lightest thing on Earth, I just wasn't liking it. It also was loud as all heck, with this high-pitched screeching sound as soon as you start vacuuming.This one; however, is incredible and is eons better for only a $20 difference. The turbo brush is fantastic on anything that the cat sleeps on, and it will save my life when it comes to our carpeted stairs. The super-long cord lets me vacuum one entire level without having to unplug it. I also like the adjustable level settings depending on what type of floor you are on. The other one didn't have that, either, and it was cumbersome to maneuver. The dirt canister is slightly smaller than the previous Bissell I owned; however, I have a cat that sheds like crazy and I can do the whole downstairs without having to empty it.One tip that you will miss unless you sit and actually read the manual: when you first lower the handle to start vacuuming, it only goes down to a certain level. That was going to be my only complaint, as it wouldn't get under the coffee tables. Upon browsing through the manual, it says that once you have it down initially, you press the foot lever a second time and it lowers to be almost horizontal. Once I saw that, I was golden!Overall, this is an awesome vacuum. I would definitely recommend it! 07/22/2012

Pick up on carpet & hard floors great, long cord always a plus. I use the rolling brush for cat hair never seen a better product & I have used quite a few & took them back. Take my word for it, great vacuum & the price at Walmart can't be beat. 04/02/2012
