Safety Information:

- Place in a flat area of your yard to minimize ground preparation
- Choose a level location for the cedar play set
- Place the Backyard Discovery swing set no less than 6' from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical wires
- Provide enough room so that children can use the equipment safely
- Place play center in an area that is convenient for adults to watch children at play
- Do not build your play set on top of surfacing material
- Locate bare metal platforms and slides out of direct sunlight to reduce the likelihood of serious burns
- Separate active and quiet activities from each other; for example, locate sandboxes away from swings or use a guardrail or barrier to separate sandbox from the movement of swings
- A maximum of 150 lbs per child recommended for play activities designed for individual use

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grampsorpapa Excellent starter set this set comes in one box and is not to hard to assemble. The instructions are very easy to follow and I set it up for my granddaughter just in time for x-mas. The tricky part was the slide and I was worried, as the instructions called out for two people in the assembly process. I was able to do it by myself without any problems. I would say that I am about the average consumer and used my cordless screw driver when possible. The kit comes with the proper bits to do so or you can use the hand tools that are also supplied. In all honesty I started 3 days before x-mas. The first two days I spent about 4 hours each day and assembled the major parts in the garage. Xmas eve morn, it was an 8:00 AM start and was able to set the steaks in cement by 11:00 am. It took a while for me as the ground was slightly out of level and I wanted it level. While the cement was drying I hung the swings attached the slide and I was ready to present it the next day. This kit was great as all the wood is pre-cut and drilled and marked. Rated 5 out of 5 by HappyDaddy66 Awesome. It took me about 12 hours to put it together. I have done some minimal construction work and home improvement work so it helped. You have to keep track of everything, stay organized and be methodical about the construction. I was missing one bolt, but I used another bolt that wasn't meant for that section. I had a lot of left over parts, but it is very solid, attractive and the kids love it. We have a 2 year old and a BIG 4 year old and it's perfect for them. If you are inept at following instructions or have zero experience using power tools you will need help. There was only about a half hour where I needed someone else to help me. We purchased this for our grandson for Christmas. The price was great and shipping was free being as I shipped to my daughters town Walmart! It's sturdy and worth the money spent! 12/20/2012
