Transfer Your Prescriptions With Ease

It's Easy to Transfer Prescriptions Online. Follow these six easy steps:

  1. New customers need to create an online Pharmacy account. Existing customers can sign in and update contact/patient information.
  2. Choose how to receive your order–either in-store pickup or home delivery.
  3. For in-store pickup, search by ZIP code to find the store closest to you.
  4. Choose a store and pickup time.
  5. For home delivery, select shipping address and shipping method.
  6. Carefully review your information and click "Submit."

The Walmart Pharmacy will then contact that pharmacy to make the transfer.

Expired prescriptions and prescriptions with no refills cannot be transferred to another Walmart Pharmacy.

Please note: Due to state regulations, some prescriptions cannot be transferred between pharmacies. A Walmart pharmacist will contact you if there are any issues. Please allow one extra business day for your order while the pharmacist attempts to contact your pharmacy.
