Rated 4 out of 5 by CarolsCritters Not Micro Beads~These Are Large Pea Sized Beads! I was trying to find microbeads, the tiny small ones that come in typical bean bag chairs. Since these came from Bean Bag Factory + some of the reviews said they were small beans I thought there was a chance they might actually be small. NOT! These beans are large as far as I'm concerned, they are the EXACT SIZE OF A PEA....the kind of pea one would eat, maybe a tad larger. They are far from small!These beans are not suitable for trying to create a comfortable squishy bed pillow "as seen on t.v", nor are they comfortable in any other small or medium sized pillow. They are lumpy, noisy & uncomfortable in a soft cover. Since these beans will not work for my squishy bed pillow idea, I decided to use them for stuffing my Halloween props. I purchased some individual pillow covers from our local Walmart store & stuffed these beans in them for use as the "body" of our Evil Clown and Gorilla costumes which will then be lightweight and easy to squish into place as we see fit for our Haunted Woods.So although these beans didn't work out for my original intention I guess I have to give them at least a 4 for good value and price for a variety of projects. There are a LOT of beans for your money as compared to other online stores. As for bean bag refills I would personally prefer smaller beans so they would better mold to one's body, i.e. polystyrene virgin beads. 10/06/2011
