Rated 5 out of 5 Great sound quality! This docking speaker is actually pretty small, but the sound quality is AMAZING, it's louder than you would expect from something so small. It has the perfect amount of base. This should be compatible with all apple iPhones/iPods being that I have the newest iPhone 4S and it works perfectly fine. The 30pin Connector (where you plug in your device) is flexible, for use with cases and such. Also this dock DOES allow docking with otterbox cases, which i think is absolutely great. there is a piece of rubber in the center of the speaker so that the back of your iPod/iPhone won't be directly on the metal covering the speaker. This speaker is compatible with the alarm clock on your device, so instead of the alarm sound coming from your phone it comes from the speakers, same goes for incoming calls and alerts. There are volume up and down buttons, and a button for the time dimmer. The time on this speaker automatically sets when you dock your device and will remain after removing your device, but the time is in army time meaning 1-24 instead of 1-12, and there is no possible way to change this. But it's really not that big of a deal for me. I recommend this dock to anyone and everyone reading this! 11/26/2011

Rated 3 out of 5 by dhtobin it is a gamble We bought two of these for our children's rooms. It works good, the ipod has a place to "rest", it is small enough to keep on a bed side table. The only draw back is one of the units only displays military time (24 hour time). While this is no big deal for an adult who "gets it", an 8 year old has a much a harder time understanding it. I contacted Philips, they said too bad, it works fine, I can gamble and hope that the next one we get is 12 hour time, but they do not see this as a flaw. There is no way to tell if it is 12 or 24 hour time by looking at the box or the serial. 01/12/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by MRR6 Sound quality mediocre! Military time only! First off, I'm not sure if I'd recommend this to a friend. It would depend on what they were looking for. It seems to cost a bit much for the few features it offers, and the features aren't so great. I received this as a gift, and was very excited about it. Brought it to work and set it up on my desk. It doesn't take up much room at all, and thought it would be perfect for listening to in my office. But I have some issues with it. It does charge while it plays, but don't expect to play your music very loud. Not that I'm playing it very loud while I'm at work, but on the occassion when I've turned it up a little, I found the sound to be muffled a bit. Also, at times it seems as though the sound partially cuts out. If your music has alot of bass to it, this can't handle it! And incase you're wondering, it doesn't include an alarm or a radio. Supposedly it makes any alarm you've set on your iPhone louder as it sounds through the device's speakers, but that's it. Another issue is with the fact that while it says it syncs the clock to your iPhone's clock, it doesn't necessarily do that. After 12:59 PM you'll see that the clock on the device switches over to military time, whether or not your iPhone is set to military time. There appear to be 3 instruction manuals with this, but the instructions are actually non-existant (lots of paper, no actual info), so I referred to the manufacturer's website only to find that there's no way to change this. My suggestion: give this to someone who has a small office, and was in the military, so they're used to military-time. 12/30/2011
