Rated 1 out of 5 by daisy003 not a good sewing machine I am so disappointed in this machine. Machine isn't six months old and is locking up once I have used it for a little while. Had it checked out by a friend. Said it had something to do with tension. Friend made tension adjustments. Once I tried it again; it locks up again. Company told me to mail it to Charlotte, NC or Spartanburg, SC for there service center. Too expensive to send to either place. Don't waste your time or money on this machine!!! 10/17/2012

I was walking around in our Walmart and saw this machine for only 199.00I also have an older Brother sewing machine that is not electronic and the Disney version of the embroidery sewing machine.I was interested in getting a regular sewing machine that does letters also. They are small letters but are perfect to sign your name on things you have made. And if i wanted big lettering i can use my embroidery machine! I am very happy with this machine although a little disappointed that it didn't cut your thread like my embroidery machine does. But you can't have everything for only 200.00!! And for the price it is a nice machine. I had to laugh at the reviews that are complaining how cheaply made it is. It is lightweight and yes made of plastic but it does the job. If you want to spend a fortune on a sewing machine go buy one from a dealer. But for me this one works great. 10/08/2012

Strait stitches were not consistent in length or width, and more complex stitches were not even recognize able compared to the picture they are supposed to looks like. Bobbin thread gets tangled in the machine, and will eat fabric if that happens. The machine fails to even produce a simple pair of pajama pants. Do not invest. 09/09/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by cj61 great machine for all types of sewing Great for all types of sewing, even piecing and machine quilting a twin quilt. Quiet, easy to use. I've used the needle threading option, it's okay. I love the freestyle quilting foot and the wide platform. I wish the monogram letters were a bit larger, but I really don't need that feature. It doesn't shimmy across the table like my old model, and I find the lighting is okay, could be a bit brighter. It handles thick fabrics and at least six layers of flannel. I got mine several months ago for $150, a pretty good deal. 09/04/2012
