Rated 4 out of 5 So Far So Good It was WAY easier to install in the window then the huge bulky old air conditioner I have. The regular window air conditioners take up the whole window and was a pain to install and never really fit right. This Frigidaire is good for the purpose. It keeps the room comfortable and part of the kitchen is cooler, but not as cool as the living room. I plan to get another one for the upstairs then the entire duplex will be cooler for the summer. It seems to do the job fine. Easy to install and I can still look out the window. 05/26/2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by coach122670 Not really portable I purchased a portable A/C because I have MS and I thought it would be easier than window mount. Not so much. You still have to install the tube to the window for exhaust, therefore, it is not really portable. If you wanted to move it to another room, you could do so with the wheels on the bottom, but you would then have to install the tubing to another window. The exhaust tube falls out very easily, so can't be placed in a location where it will be hit. Also, there are two plugs on the back that look the same but are not interchangeable. It did cool my 12x12 room well. 07/16/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by WWEB Cools great, operates quietly... to operate with dehumidifying air, we bought the set of four bed risers at Walmart and put the casters on that to raise it up... We then placed a dishpan (low basin) under the drain hose. We certainly were NOT going to disconnect everything to wheel it away to drain and dehumidifying the air, makes it cooler in the room... If I were designing this product, I would place a bucket in it like you have with a dehumidifer and be able to remove and carry that away... As far as quiet and cooling and removing moisture, it is great and can handle emptying "our" bucket (rarely full overnight) It works well with a too wide double hung window that a window A/C is too small for.. 07/14/2012
