The gripper back prevents the 46" x 60" Cleartex AdvantageMat Rectangle Gripper Chairmat from moving and sliding and firmly holds in place. Ideal for low pile carpets with a thickness of up to 1/4'', these Cleartex Chair Mats protects rugs and thereby enhances their lifetime. One mat can accommodate a single chair.

Also, unlike other mats, the surface isn't so slick that you feel as if you are on an ice skating rink! (Note, one thing, tho: it is really for low pile carpets.) 01/23/2013
