Takes two to put together or one strong big man. Did it in less than 2 minutes. Just two pieces. 12/16/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by JohnyNJ Good recliner This is a solid, good looking recliner, the material is soft, leather-like looking, it matches my brown leather couch and chairs. Time will tell how durable it is, though.Now negatives:1. It doesn't rock which I knew before I got it so this is not really a negative for me.2. It is a little harder than my other recliner, you don't really "sink in", which is also OK with me.3. It has a higher seat than you may like, I am 5'9" and my feet are barely touching the floor when I sit in it (or maybe the seat feels higher because you don't "sink in"). This, I don't really like, but it is not enough to make me return it. After a while I got used to it and I usually recline the legs right after I sit in, which I would probably do anyway.4. It is a little hard to push back to recline all the way, but that can be a positive when you want to use it only with the leg part up (the back will stay up providing support).Overall it is a good purchase if you want a recliner for comfortably watching TV or reading a book without falling asleep. I wouldn't recommend it if you are planning to take long naps in it, better go with a softer / lower seat rocker recliner. 12/16/2012
