There were deals on Black Friday, but did not find anything beating it even marginally.It is convenient to put it anywhere, i.e in lap, desk, sofa, bed, carpet just to name a few. It's got an integrated touchpad -- no buttons, just press down on the touchpad -- and I had bad luck with ANOTHER laptop, that had that same feature, so I was skeptical. But this one works perfectly.I also was "put off" by the appearance and frustration with Windows 8. But then I took a little time (about an hour), and learned what Windows 8 was all about. It's a breeze. You can easily customize the Start window to be whatever you want. Once that's done, the computer works beautifully. Lightning fast. Great case color (blue). Great value.
