I wanted a good one that would last - tired of ones that don't do the job, but didn't want to pay several hundreds of dollars. The first time I vacuumed with this one and emptied the bin it was amazing how much my old vacuum wasn't getting. Love that it works floor to ceiling, used the attachments to clean hard to reach areas like bathroom exhaust fans (they haven't been so clean since they were new). The bonus hand vacuum is not nearly as powerful, but handy for taking out and vacuuming the car. Overall, great product! 12/08/2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by neyana Fantastic floor suction but.... I had a 10 year old Dyson and needed to replace. With 10 years of innovations, I was hoping there was an alternative out there in comparison. I have tried the Navigator uplift and returned for this one due to short cord and hose suction is not very powerful and kind of cheaply made but loved the light weight of it. I really like the sturdiness of this vacuum , very well built, and the really great floor suction, and the easy to use wand. What I did not like was the heaviness which makes it hard to manuever around. I am use to a heavier vacuum and could deal with that but I think a rotator ball would solve it's problem. I love the cord length and that the attachment brush that is already on wand. What made me return this vacuum to try the LG 300 (which I am waiting for it's arrival) is the complete loss of suction when using the hose/wand . If the suction would have been stronger I would have kept and gave 5 stars. It even has a hard time sucking up dry dog food bits and that is a major problem for me. My dogs scater that stuff everywhere. Hair pick up is amazing for floor but not so good when using wand for corners an edges. I am not sure why it loses so much suction when using hose. Even the navigator's hose suction was stronger than this one and I returned it to try this one. If you don't use hose much then I would say get this one but I use it more than I use use floor base and good suction on hose is a must. I sure hope LG sloves my woes. I will leave a review with that one as well. 01/08/2013
