Rated 5 out of 5 by Glock18 Best MP3 player on the market EXPANDS to 36 GB! I own 3 of these. They give you great sound. I have a Ipod 8GB and can not tell the difference.Most importantly I listen to a lot of digital "Books on CD" (without the CD's) so now through my local library I can download a whole book in MP3 format and listen to it with this amazing thing.With this much space I have about 25 books waiting to be read (average 400 page each). I also have 4 gigs of music and 12 hours or more of Podcast.When you get a expansion card (Micro mem card) remember you really do not need anything faster than 4 X speed.I originally paid $30 for my Sansa Clip but I believe they are going up in price.I have never even had a refurb go bad.These are like fax machines simple and they work. You do need to understand a folders tree. Or get mediamonkey to manage the device, so you can then just drop songs on it like a Apple.FYI I do not like Apples. 01/16/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by hearsmusic Great Little thing I bought 4 of these in 2011 -2012, two were purchased here, one a refurbish. All are running strong.They are delightful tiny payers with great sound (I researched it and the Sansa Clip + has a flat and wide frequency response), are nicely finished and have great features that all work well. You won't get perfect reception with the radio like with a radio with an antenna and that should be expected, but where I live I am able to pick up stations surprisingly well.Sounds great plugged in to play through stereos, turn the player's volume all the way up when doing so to get sound.The battery lasts long, about 10 hours with high bit rate files with the backlight set to turn off in 5 seconds and not alot of fiddling in the menu searching for songs, I just let it play. The menu is designed very intelligently with good options. At first it may seem confusing but just play around with it and it won't take long to get it.The record function records quite clearly for such a tiny thing.There is a slot for a micro sdhc card up to 32 GB and you can delete songs on the player's internal memory as well as the card from the player which is very handy, press bottom button to bring up submenu when song is playing to do that.You can check out library audiobooks with the Overdrive program downloaded to your computer.Sansa makes a great product packed with features for a reasonable price. We still have two ancient Sansa Mp3 player models that have replaceable batteries that are still working well, but this one is much nicer.Have not tried the latest model, Sansa Zip Clip, but can't see how this one could be improved on in any way.My only complaint is when the internal battery wears out (from what I've read 3 - 5 years) we won't have this little gem. 01/29/2013

You can also record FM radio stations (up to 2 hours in length) as well as your own voice (microphone is built in). Recording quality is excellent for FM and better-than-average for voice. Recordings are date and time stamped in file name and saved as WAV files. Unit is smaller than appears (measures about 2" x 4").Easy to use buttons/interface. No need for software installation on Mac, just drag and drop MP3 files into folder. 01/29/2013
