What our shoppers say:
Not a good bike for a small woman (I'm 4'10\").
I'm a 55+ but youthful female who bought this for the Summer to run errands, library and just to exercise. The bike itself was beautiful, but it was too heavy, hard to manuver and ride on hills; and to large to store in my shed and took up too much space in my 1-car garage. I returned it and bought me a cruiser.\n\nI would not recommend it for a small woman.
OMG! I can't believe I found this amazing bike at walmart. This is Bike Store quality. It is a very strong, well made bike. The tires are fat, the frame is beefy and strong. This bike can hold alot of weight. The handle bars are nice, so you are sitting up straight with no back pain. It's a smooth ride, easy on the knees. I had 3 kids back to back, am very out of shape and just tipped the scale @ 300lbs. I wanted to start riding again but felt like I was overpowering and squashing my other bike. But this Onyx is big and it holds me great. It's not too tall either. I am a woman 5' 9\" and with the seat all the way down my feet are almost flat on the ground. The seat is pretty good, it's wide and soft. The hand grips are comfortable. This bike is great for anyone 5' 9\" and up, anyone heavier, anyone that can appreciate an upright smooth ride. Big people don't have to feel self consious bending rims and flat tires, and tall folks don't have to worry about back and knee pain. This bike is a happy medium. I am grateful to have found it for such a great price. If you are reading the reviews and can't decide.......let me help you.......BUY THIS BIKE !!! you won't regret it and you'll get out more and ride more.

Very disappointed with my bike purchase , paddles missing , back rim damage very very disappointed with the product . Will never order online again , I had to take the bike back for a refund . I had waited three weeks to get really looking forward to have now I have no bike.
The bike was packaged well. All parts were included. Installation was pretty easy with open end and allen wrenches. The bike is sturdy and operates smoothly. You have a fairly large adjustment range for different heights. My wife and I really enjoy riding the bike. The tandem bike allows people at different levels of fitness to get a good workout together (as opposed to walking or jogging).

What our shoppers say:
Good, not perfect.
It is a light bike, easy to handle. Building it was simple. All it took was a few adjustments. However, it seems like the rear axle has a slight woble. I will be calling the tel on the paperwork to resolve this.
Great value. If you are not mechanicaly inclined, find someone that is. Support your local bike shop. 50-60 dollars to assemble and safely setup it up is worth it. I have considerable mechanical experience and a road cyclist\/mountain bike rider, it took me about a hour to setup in my living room.
i am not an avid cyclist, obviously if i'm buying such an inexpensive bike, but as far as bike riding goes, this bike is great. it does the trick and looks really stylish. i have been riding it for a couple of weeks and have totally enjoyed it. hope it keeps up the good work.
Attractive bike but even for a simple bike it would not stay together. Handle bars would come loose, seat would also come loose. No complaint with the way Walmart handled the return.
The bike arrived as I was told it would. It took me about 1\/2 hour to assemble. Had to put air in the tires, but besides that everything else was fine. I am enjoying riding my new bike .
This Bike is all it's written up to be and more. You can use it's PAS mode switch and assist Peddeling if you like for the exercise or move to the TAG mode and let the bike do all the work if you tire. Just a Comfortable and Fun Ride.
In my opinion, this would be a great bike if you are on the shorter and smaller side. We ordered these (both the men's and women's version) and upon arrival were very happy with them! They are great looking bikes and fairly easy to put together. However, when we began riding them, the gears were a bit on the clunky side and the bike itself felt unstable. Both my husband and I are on the taller side (5'8\" & 6'1\"), which while I'm not sure if it made a difference, it felt extremely shaky as we were riding it on concrete\/uneven surfaces. We ended up returning both of them and have since bought better bikes.\n\nTHANKS!

Nice bike!
I needed a bike so I could add to my exercise regimen. I didn't have a lot of money to spend so I shopped around and found this one. I have taken it on a few rides and I am very happy with my choice. Not only does it ride nice...it looks great!
First off,you can't go wrong buying this bike it has high quality,Tires come aired up but you might check to make sure, all the parts was with the bike, you will need allen wrenches for the handle bars and metric wrenches for the rest, make sure the front fork points forward then add front fender then tire,No work needed on the rear portion of bike, add peddles,Seat and fender and front tire is about all there is to it,Cons..manual wasn't for my bike..Use 3 and 1 oil for chain it pretty tight ,I addes a 18 by 7.5 by 12 dual silver basket to mine on the rear and a 14 by 13 8 inch on the front light and speed ohmeter
it is a great bike , nice ride love the purple and orange color came with a few scratches on it but im in love with the purple color of the bike , only thing to complain about are the pedals are a bit small and im upset that the chrome paint on my left handle bar is flaking off only after having 2 days other then that its a great christams and 2 week early birthday gift
Unfortunately, there was a broken spoke on the front wheel when I opened the box. The local Walmart store graciously traded me a replacement bike from their floor inventory!
The bike appears to be in good shape but since it is a Christmas gift it has not been tested on the road yet. I would like to comment on the associate who helped me. Even with the busy Christmas season she was the most helpful sales person I have encountered in many years. Jonna Barslou at the Phillips Highway store in Jacksonville, FL couldn't have been more eager to help. I had never ordered anything shipped to the store online and needed to ask some questions. She took her time to fully answer all my concerns. Wal Mart should be proud to have employees like Jonna in their stores.
You get what you pay for. The frame is good but the seat is cheap. Also the grips on the handle bars are way cheap. I took a chance with this bike since they didn't have one in the store to look at. If I hadn't but it together, I would return it. One good thing is if it gets stolen I won't be heartbroken like my last bike.
