Rated 4 out of 5 by KellyNMike Reasonable Value for the Price I have had my rower for about 2+ years now and use it a few times per week, except for a few months when I couldn't use it. I bought this rower because I wanted to get started and ensure that I would use the equipment rather than paying more for an expensive clothes rack. I hadn't worked out in years and started out only able to do about 10 minutes on the lowest setting. I like that you can gradually adjust up. After I get to the point where 30 minutes at any particular level gets easy, I move it up half a notch. I get a good workout and can easily stand the machine up and prop it against the wall or move it whereever I want to store it.Overall, I am satisifed with my purchase, although I agree with some of the other complaints I have read elsewhere. The monitoring device on my rower quit within the first couple of months. I didn't bother to contact the manufacturer because it wasn't important to me. Also, from time to time, the left shock will temporarily fail. I found that with the right combination of jiggling it back and forth and from side to side it kicks in again. I did temporarily have some loud squeaking a while back but a little WD-40 took care of. The foam grips got small cracks in them a while ago but I have been still been able to use them and just now need to completely replace them. My seat and rollers work just fine.Bottom line. This rower is a great starter rower. It's not up to par with the high end machines in the gym, but it also costs only a fraction. Now that I know that I will use a rower regularly, once this one wears out I'll probably upgrade on my next purchase. But, this one has served me well and I don't regret my decision to buy this at all. 02/19/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by DDD1DDD Quality equipment at a small price Although the equipment exceeded my expectations it was a little more difficult to put together. It works better than expected and offers a superb workout of a variety of muscle groups. It provides a great cardiovascular workout as well. 04/04/2013
