K S Narasimhaswamy Dead

Dr.K.S.Narasimhaswamy popularly known as KSN – the Mysoora Mallige Kavi, the genius in literary circle for his poems in six decades of writing died in the early hours on Sunday due to long illness. A few months ago KSN fell down from his cot and got admitted to hospital. He recovered from the hall but he illness at the age of 89 still persisted.
KSN always remains in the memory of Kannada film industry and cine goers. The “Mysoora Mallige” made in 1991 by director T.S.Nagabharana received the national and state acclaim. Anand and Sudharani played the stellar roles in that film that was produced by liquor baron Hari Khoday. In 1991-92 the film ‘Mysora Mallige’ won the second best film for producer, second best director award for T.S.Nagabharana, best actress award for Sudharani, best cameraman for B.C.Gowrishanker, best editing for Suresh Urs, best sound recording for Aravind Kiggalu.
KSN born in 1915 at Kikkeri is an engineering graduate. Winner of many laurels in his life is the winner of Kendra Sahitya Academy award too. KSN poems are inseparable from our lives. There are innumerable songs in the audio albums. Remember the song Rayaru Bandharu Mavana Manege….
