Once you confirm your account, the first screen you will see is the Add Domains screen. Simply add the domains you wish to sell, click "Save and continue to NDX Market", enter your sales settings and the domains will be listed on NDX Market.

If the domains are already in your NameDrive account, log into your account and click 'NDX Market' on the left navigation menu. Next, click 'Add domains to NDX' on the left navigation.

When is my domain purchase or sale final on NDX Market?

A sale on NDX Market can be concluded in three ways:

1. You, or the party you are negotiating with accept an offer or counter offer for a Best Offer domain.

2. You submit a winning bid on an auction which is higher than the reserve price when the auction ends.

3. You use the BuyNow feature to buy a domain at a given price. There are no negotiations in this instance. Once you click BuyNow, you are taken to a confirmation page where you can confirm your intent to buy the domain at this price.

In all instances, once a purchase agreement has been made on NDX Market, you are then obliged to continue with the transaction for the domain at the agreed price.

What happens after I agree to buy or sell a domain on NDX Market?

Once a purchase agreement has been made on NDX Market, you are then obliged to continue with the transaction for the domain at the agreed price.

As soon as the agreement is made, the domain buyer is sent a payment request with instructions on how to pay for the domain.

Once the payment has been sent to NameDrive's secure account, we instruct the seller on how to proceed with the domain transfer. This can range from something as simple as supplying an authorization code for a .com domain to something more complex, such as filling out and sending a fax for .es domains.

At every stage of the transfer, NameDrive's customer service specialists will be in contact with you to guide you through the process to ensure that the domain transfer is done quickly and efficiently and that the buyer receives the domain in the shortest time possible.

Once the buyer has confirmed ownership transfer of the domain, NameDrive releases the funds to the domain seller.

What is the Min. offer setting when listing domains on NDX Market?

Min. offer is short for 'Minimum offer'. Any offers submitted by users under this amount will automatically rejected and they will be encouraged to submit a more substantial offer.

In the interests of encouraging domain negotiations, we strongly recommend keeping this amount low. You are under no obligation to sell a domain once a buyer starts negotiations, so it is far more beneficial to encourage offers by setting a reasonable minimum offer.

Even if your domain is worth $10,000, setting a minimum offer of $8,000 will scare off the vast majority of buyers before they even have a chance to open negotiations with you, so it is best to set a low minimum offer and encourage the buyer to engage with you.

If you already have minimum offer settings from the current NameDrive system, this will be taken over automatically when adding domains to NDX Market.

What is the BuyNow price?

BuyNow is a fixed sales price. If a buyer buys a domain using BuyNow, you are obliged to sell it at that price, there are no negotiations.

You should therefore give some thought to what amount you consider a fair buyout price for your domains. This is a great opportunity to set up your own fixed price domain store on NDX Market and it therefore pays to be reasonable when setting this price. Overpricing your domains out of the market will not lead to any sales, whereas setting reasonable BuyNow prices can be a great way of turning over your domain inventory.

What is the Park&Sell option when listing domains on NDX Market?

With Park&Sell, NameDrive pioneered the first domain aftermarket based on true parking earnings so domain owners could sell domains based on their actual domain earnings as well as generic value.

This continues on NDX Market with the option to show your NameDrive domain earnings for the last 30 days. To do this, click the Park&Sell check box in the listing table. This will show potential buyers your domains' views and earnings on NameDrive for the last 30 days.

NameDrive reserves the right to decline domains for listing on Park&Sell if the traffic origins and behavior cannot be verified.

How do I list domains for auction?
Listing domains for auction is exactly the same as listing domains for best offer. However, on the set up form, click the button at the bottom of the screen 'List as Auction'. This will take you to the auction setup screen.
What is Start bid on the auction listing screen?
The Start bid is the starting bid for your auction. Anyone wishing to bid on your auction will have to submit an offer of this amount or higher to get started. We recommend keeping this amount low to increase interest in your auction.
What is Reserve on the auction listing screen?

This is your auction's reserve price. If you set a reserve price and the auction's winning bid is below this price, your domain will not be sold. This allows you to regulate the minimum price your domains will fetch in the auction. If the winning bid for the auction is above the reserve price, the domain will be sold.

We recommend setting a reasonable reserve price to ensure your auction will end with a successful sale.

What are the End date and End time settings on the auction listing page?

On NDX Market, you can not only set the precise day when the auction runs out, you can also set the time zone. This enables you to ensure that your auction comes to its conclusion in a time zone which best suits your domain. The options are London, New York and Tokyo Early, Midday and Evening.

Early auctions will end between 9am and 1pm local time
Midday auctions will end between 1pm and 6pm
Evening auctions will end between 6pm and 11pm

London is GMT, New York is EST (GMT-5) and Tokyo is JST (GMT+9)

When will my domain be reviewed by the NameDrive team for NDX Market?
NameDrive will review your domain as soon as possible and aim to have all domains approved within hours of listing. If your domain is already parked with NameDrive, it will be approved more quickly than domains which are not parked with NameDrive.
How can I manage offers for domains I am buying or selling?

Whenever you receive an offer on NDX Market, you will receive an email to the address you use for your NameDrive account.

If you have an open offer, you can log into your NameDrive account, click 'NDX Market' on the left and then click 'Active domain purchases' or 'Active domain sales' (Depending on whether you are buying or selling domains). You can then respond to any offer by clicking the Accept, Decline or Counteroffer options on the right of the screen.

If you click Accept, once you have confirmed your decision, you will be obliged to sell your domain for the given price.

If you click Decline, you will stop negotiations with the other party. They will not be able to submit any further offer for this domain unless you choose to reactivate the offer at a later date.

If you click Counteroffer, you can enter a counteroffer in the box and, on the next page, submit a private comment to the other party.

If you have declined an offer or if an offer is expired, you can also click the purple Reactivate button to reactivate negotiations with the other party.

How long are offers valid for on NDX Market?

Any offer you make on a domain listed as Best Offer, your offer is valid for 7 days. This applies to offers made by potential buyers as well as counteroffers made by domain sellers.

Any bid you make on an auction is valid until the auction ends. If your bid is the winning bid and is above the reserve price, you are obliged to buy the domain at the final ending price for the auction.

When can I reactivate an offer on NDX Market?

If an offer you were negotiating on has expired (either through your inaction or the other party's inaction), you can reactivate this offer by clicking the Reactivate button on the Active domain sales / Active domain purchases screen.

If you have declined the other party's offer, you are able to reactivate it in order to continue with the negotiations.
However, if the other party has declined your offer, only they have the power to reactivate it.

What is NDX Market certification?

NameDrive offers you the chance to certify your NDX Market account so that we can verify your identity and can be sure that you will use NDX Market in a trustworthy manner.

Certification is free and easy to complete. Simply download and fill out the certification form and then fax it or email it back to us. In addition to the form, you also need to provide a photo ID and a recent utility bill.

NameDrive will only use this data to certify your account and will not pass it on to any other parties.

Certification will encourage other users on NDX Market to do business with you as they know that you are a trusted user. It will also allow you to bid on auctions and buy domains using BuyNow.

You can begin the certification process by downloading the form here.

What are the traffic statistics shown on the NDX Market offer pages? Can I rely on them 100% when making an offer to buy a domain?

If a domain seller opts to show Park&Sell, potential buyers will be able to see their parking statistics for the last 30 days on the domain.

If you are unsure about any particular domain's revenue statistics, we will be happy to verify them for you before you make any offer.

While NameDrive takes the utmost care to ensure that domains listed with parking statistics show revenue statistics which are real, we cannot take responsibility for domains which have fabricated revenue earnings. We therefore suggest you thoroughly check any domain you are unsure about or contact NameDrive for further verification.

When is sales tax applied to a domain purchase on NDX Market?

In most cases, sales tax will not be an issue for buyers on NDX Market. NameDrive have taken the utmost care to ensure that, as a trader in the US or the European Union, any transaction involving sales tax is clearly labeled.

If you are trading in the US or Europe and sales tax is not marked on the offer page, then your final purchase price will not be affected by sales tax.

If you are trading as a company outside the US or the EU, you are responsible for declaring any possible sales tax on your domain sale to the requisite authority.

In any case where sales tax is involved, it is carried by the domain buyer rather than the domain seller on NDX Market.

Sales tax is usually applicable when the domain seller is trading as a company in Europe and the domain buyer is trading as an individual in Europe.

Whenever sales tax is applicable to your transaction, it will be clearly marked on the domain offer page as well as the offer confirmation page.

As a domain buyer, please bear in mind that your offer will have this additional sales tax added to the final purchase price. So if your offer is $100 and the sales tax is 17.5%, your final purchase price will be $117.5.

What happens if an auction finishes with a final bid price which is lower than the seller's reserve price?
As a buyer: If you are the highest bidder, but your winning bid is lower than the reserve price, the domain will not be sold, as only domains with a winning bid which is higher than the reserve price will be sold.

As a seller: If your auction finishes without a winning bid higher than your reserve price, the domain will not be sold. You will find the domain in the 'Expired' tab on the 'Add domains to NDX' page in your front office. You can then relist the domain to NDX Market in the usual way, either as an auction or a best offer.
I can sometimes see the minimum offer for a domain on NDX Market but I often can't. Why is this?
As a seller: By default, the minimum offer you enter is a hidden amount so the buyer has to make a reasonable offer based on how they value the domain rather than simply starting negotiations at your minimum offer.
However, on the NDX Market domain settings page, you can choose the option 'Show Min. Offer'. This will display the minimum offer in the domain search and on the domain offer page. In this way, you can use your minimum offer setting as a guide price for potential buyers.

As a buyer
: In most cases, minimum offer is a hidden amount. The seller wants you to make a reasonable offer and can choose a minimum amount below which they don't want to start negotiating.
I've agreed to buy a domain on NDX Market. How do I pay for it?
When you agree to buy a domain, an email is automatically sent to you with a payment request for the domain attached.

If you do not receive this within 10 minutes of a domain purchase being completed, please check your Junk folder on your email as the email may have landed there.

You can also find your payment request by clicking NDX Transfer in your NameDrive account. Click on the domain you have bought and you will find the payment request under 'Files'.

The payment request has detailed information on how to pay for your purchased domain.
