BOARD, The Manufacturer & Capgemini UK plc have joined forces to deliver a comprehensive programme of research and events focusing on Business Intelligence (BI) & Performance Management (PM) in manufacturing.

As the premiere UK industry publication providing manufacturing news, articles and insights while promoting best practice in the manufacturing industry, The Manufacturer is working with Capgemini - one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services - and BOARD – a leading global provider of BI & PM software - to develop a three step series of informative reports, events and networking opportunities.

This will commence in September 2011 with an outbound boardroom report inside The Manufacturer and will be followed with a one-day BI Conference in December which will attract key speakers, case studies and software vendors with proven successes in the BI and PM space. The final stage will be a BI Connect event, to take place early 2012, where manufacturers from all over the UK can meet commercial sponsors and discuss their BI requirements.

This program is built on the successful model already employed by The Manufacturer within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) space. Capgemini will be providing real-life evidence, support, advice and expert guidance on content throughout the project.
