BENGALURU: A 12-year old boy on Saturday succumbed to burns sustained after he came in contact with a high-tension wire near his house in west Bengaluru.
Shreyas, student of Class 6 and a resident of Deen Bandhu Nagar in Nandini Layout, was playing on the terrace of his house on October 5 after returning from school.
Neighbour noticed:
Shreyas accidentally came in contact with the high-tension wire running parallel to the roof. One of the neighbours heard his screams and rescued him. He called Shreyas' parents who took him to Victoria Hospital. On Saturday around 6.30 pm, Shreyas died in hospital.
