Ahmed Shariff judges Fresh Face auditions at Acharya
Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
The Clean & Clear Bangalore Times Fresh Face 2015 auditions held at Acharya Institute of Technology were as exciting as it could get. The participants displayed a variety of talents such as beat-boxing, martial arts, acting, singing folk songs, classical dance, belly dance and ramp walking, making it tough for the judges — stand-up comedian Ahmed Shariff and RJ Guru — to pick the best among the lot. Lohith CG, who sung a Janapada song, impressed Guru so much that he gave him the chance to be on air with him on his show. The enthusiastic crowd cheered every contestant, which pepped up the performers even more. Based on their talent, confidence, attitude in the See The Real Me Round, 11 people were selected for the Q&A; round. The charming Urmica Yelavarthy was the winner among the girls. Bhavana HK, who was the last participant at this leg of the Clean & Clear Bangalore Times Fresh Face 2015 auditions, and made a mark with her singing, was declared the first runner-up. Swati Raaj, who impressed the judges with her confidence and overall personality, was adjudged the second runner-up. Among the boys, guitarist David Fernandes was declared the winner. Prasad Prakash Goamase, who mesmerized everyone with his rendition of Kailash Kher’s Saiyyan, was the first runner-up, while the model-like Mounis Bin Muzafar Khan was the second runner-up.
