Prime Minister Gruevski pays working visit to State of Israel.
A government delegation consisting of Macedonia's Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki and the Minister without Portfolio responsible for attracting foreign investments, Jerry Naumoff, paid a working visit to the State of Israel on 9 December.
In Jerusalem, Prime Minister Gruevski had a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, at which the excellent bilateral relations marked by mutual friendship and understanding were confirmed. The two officials also signed the Declaration of Friendship between the Republic of Macedonia and the State of Israel as a document of strategic importance, the agreement on double taxation avoidance and the agreement on promotion and protection of investments.

Among the issues tabled were also cooperation in agriculture and green energy, the possibilities for tapping the hydro and tourism potential, the combat against terrorism and the migrant crisis.
During his visit to the State of Israel, Macedonia's Prime Minister Gruevski also visited the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem where he held meetings with the management and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
A business forum was also held in Jerusalem attended by representatives of Israeli companies from the fields of agriculture, energy, tourism and medicine. The government delegation presented on this occasion the conditions for investment and doing business in the Republic of Macedonia.
