Social and Cultural Development Sector Reviews Act of Disabled Persons.
Khartoum, Mar. 2 (SUNA) - The Social and Cultural Development Sector of the Council of Ministers, chaired by the Minister of Guidance and Endowments, Dr. Ammar Mirghani, Wenesday reviewed a bill of the Act of Persons with Disabilities for the year 2016, which presented at the meeting by the State Minister at the Ministry of Welfare and Social Security, Ibrahim Adam Ibrahim. The law affirmed the state concern with the disabled persons and commitment to the international agreements on rights of the disabled persons. The law included features on the rights, privileges and exemptions given to the disabled persons and referred to establishment of a national council for support to the disabled persons and its jurisdiction. Meanwhile, the sector got informed on implementation of the orientation and programs of the state reform program at ministries affiliated to the sector. MO
