The Diamond Jubilee Royal Visit to New Zealand by Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, began on November 10.
The Royal couple will visit Auckland, Wellington, Feilding, Palmerston North and Christchurch before heading flying to Britain on November 16.

Auckland
10 November:
- Approx 2130: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the RNZAF Base, Auckland
- 1010: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the Auckland War Memorial Museum for a mihi whakatau
- 1100: The Prince and Duchess attend an Armistice Day Commemoration and meet veterans, Auckland War Memorial Museum
- 1020: The Prince and Duchess visit AUT Millennium, North Shore, Auckland
- 1115: The Prince and Duchess attend performance of Hairy Maclary, Bruce Mason Theatre, Takapuna, Auckland
- 1215: The Prince arrives at the Devonport Naval Base to view Sealegs amphibious vessels and HamiltonJet technology before boarding a Coastguard New Zealand vessel to cross Auckland harbour, visiting the Coastguard New Zealand Headquarters, Mechanics Bay, Auckland.
- 1225: The Duchess joins a briefing for Osteoporosis researchers and members of Osteoporosis New Zealand at The Langham Hotel, Auckland.
- 1320: The Prince and Duchess arrive at Lower Queen St and walk down to Queen’s Wharf, Auckland
- 1330: The Prince arrives at The Cloud to visit the New Zealand Shear Brilliance event, Auckland
- 1350: The Duchess visits East Tamaki Primary School, Auckland
- 1440: The Prince arrives at the University of Auckland’s Owen Glenn Building, and is shown examples of the University’s research and innovation, Auckland
- 1900: The Prince and Duchess attend the Diamond Jubilee Trust Reception and Dinner at the SkyCity Convention Centre, Auckland
Wellington
14 November:
- 1200: The Prince and Duchess arrive at Government House Wellington for the Diamond Jubilee Welcome Ceremony, hosted by the Governor-General, Sir Jerry Mateparae, at Government House Wellington
- 1245: The Prince and Duchess officially open New Zealand’s Diamond Jubilee gift to Her Majesty The Queen, a new Visitor Centre at Government House Wellington
- 1330: The Prince and Duchess arrive at Taranaki St Wharf and walk along the Wellington waterfront, to the Frank Kitts Park playground
- 1435: The Prince visits Weta Workshop, Miramar, Wellington
- 1500: The Duchess attends a reception hosted by Lady Janine Mateparae celebrating the work of women in the community, Government House Wellington
- 1530: The Prince receives the Prime Minister, Rt Hon John Key, and the Leader of the Opposition, David Shearer, in separate meetings at Government House Wellington
- 1630: The Prince and Duchess attend a birthday celebration, hosted by the Governor-General, Sir Jerry Mateparae, at Government House Wellington
Wellington/Feilding/Palmerston North
15 November:
- 1000: The Prince and Duchess meet with New Zealand Defence Force Families of the Fallen, Government House Wellington
- 1220: The Prince and Duchess arrive in Feilding and attend the Farmers’ Market in Manchester Square,
- 1345: The Prince visits a local farm
- 1400: The Duchess visits the Equine Research and Wildlife Centres at Massey University in Palmerston North
- 1515: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the Royal New Zealand Air Force Base Ohakea, and meet Air Force personnel and their families
- 1900: The Prince attends a reception for New Zealand’s conservation community, hosted by the Governor-General, Sir Jerry Mateparae, at Government House Wellington
Christchurch
16 November:
- 1200: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the Christchurch City Council Civic offices and are welcomed with a mihi whakatau before visiting earthquake-damaged parts of the Christchurch CBD and residential areas
- 1310: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the Diamond Jubilee Clock Tower, Christchurch
- 1325: The Prince and Duchess visit the Re:START Cashel Street Mall, and the Dance-o-Mat, Christchurch
- 1435: The Prince and Duchess arrive at the 150th Canterbury A&P Show, Canterbury Agricultural Park
- 2230: The Prince and Duchess conclude their visit to New Zealand, departing from Christchurch Airport
