A 24 year old woman who is a resident of Gaborone was on Friday warned by the Urban Deputy Court President, Kgosimotse Sebele, against giving false information to the police.
Modiegi Potia Sanka [24] from Maipee ward in Ramotswa and married to a Tanzanian, went to the Central Police Station and reported that her husband wanted to kill her.

A 26 year old man who is a cab operator in Gaborone was this week arraigned before the Urban Customary Court Deputy, Kgosimotse Sebele, charged with drinking liquor in a prohibited area.
He pleaded guilty to the charge.

One resident was last week arrested for allegedly stealing six cattle in South Africa-a move that might spark friction between the two countries.

Public Enterprise Evaluation and Privatisation Agency (PEEPA) are embarking on broad consultative discussion with stakeholders with the view of shaping up the much awaited privatization of public institutions.
