Exit Signage - No Exit
Publish | January 01, 0001
What circumstances require the use of "No Exit" signs?
There are circumstances when a No Exit sign is an effective means of providing clarity to the means of egress. The Annex A guidance for NFPA 101 (2000) is helpful. "The likelihood of occupants mistaking passageways or stairways that lead to dead-end spaces for exit doors and becoming trapped governs the need for No Exit signs." [LS.02.01.20]
