2012


On July 31, 2012, L’Oréal USA received the "Diversity and Inclusion" Award (DANDI) for its commitment and innovative action with regard to Diversiy.



October. L’Oréal Mexico received the “Gender Equity Model” Label for professional gender equality from the Mexican Ministry of Women.


September. L’Oréal Morocco received an award at the “8th Rencontre Internationale de la Diversité, for Reveal, a innovative L’Oréal business game that helps to detect talents that are socially diverse.


April. L’Oréal Canada received the “Best Diversity Employers” Awards in recognition of their employee training program “Valorizing Intergenerational Differences” that promotes the understanding of differences and openness to others.


December. Additional L’Oréal entities received the Gender Equality European Standard Label: Baltics, Czech Republic, Portugal and Poland, attesting to the advancements made in the area of professional gender equality in L’Oréal subsidiaries in Europe.

2013


L'Oréal has been recognized as one of the "Most Ethical Companies in the World" by the Ethisphere Institute. Selected from a record number of candidates and nominees, the Group was recognized for its promotion of high ethical standards.

2009


In 2009, L’Oréal SA obtained for the Diversity label in France in recognition of the group's commitment to equal opportunity, promotion of diversity and prevention of discrimination.

2009


The Pace Leadership in Ethics Award, awarded to Jean-Paul Agon by the Ethics Resource Center in 2009, recognizes L’Oréal's achievements in the areas of business ethics, diversity, financial transparency and sustainable development.

2007


In 2007, L’Oréal was ranked as one of the one of the world’s most ethical companies by Ethisphere Magazine, an Ethisphere Council* publication that highlights the strong links that exist between profit and ethics.

2006


In 2006, in Prague, L’Oréal was presented with the Corporate Diversity Innovation award by the World Diversity Leadership Council. This was the first time that the group received an international recognition for the cultural diversity of its products.

2005


In 2005, Sir Lindsay Owen-Jones was presented with the International Leadership Award by the Anti-Defamation League, an American organization dedicated to fighting all forms of discrimination.

2004


In 2004, L’Oréal received the Diversity Best Practices Global Leadership Award for its commitment to creating an environment that promotes diversity of employees, customers and suppliers.

2014


In November 2014, L’Oréal was rewarded by the Arborus fund for its outstanding rollout of gender equality certifications in Europe. Since the launch of the GEEIS (Gender Equality European and International Standard) in 2010, 24 of the Group’s subsidiaries have obtained the certification.


The corporate social responsibility ratings agency Vigeo recognized L'Oreal as one of the foremost companies for its gender diversity policy.

2011


In 2011, L’Oréal was presented with the first European label for professional equality, the Gender Equality-European Standard (GE-ES), for seven countries: France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, England and Ireland.



L’Oréal Belgium received from the Brussels Region, the “Diversity Label in recognition of their commitment to Diversity, both within the company, providing diversity training for all employees, to equal opportunities both for women and men,..and externally, for example, their sponsorship of a recruitment website dedicated to people with disabilities.
