Jérôme Tixier holds a Master’s in Law (1975) and is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris. He joined L’Oréal in 1980 to participate in the creation of the Department of Internal Audit. Three years later he joined Biotherm’s sales department, before joining the Professional Products Division in 1985. As Finance and Administration Director for France, and then General Manager of Kerastase for France in 1990, he turned to Human Resources in 1993 as head of HR worldwide for the Professional Products Division. In 1999, he was appointed Human Resources Director of the Consumer Products Division. In 2007, he became Advisor to the President on questions of governance and, in 2011, was appointed Executive Vice-President Human Resources while remaining Advisor to the Chairman.
