Quartzel®, the fiber of innovation

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics is the first to have used quartz fiber in the civil aviation industry. Produced from the fusion of extremely pure natural quartz, the fused silica fibers provide the best transparency for the aircraft’s electromagnetic waves. This fiber has another advantage: its excellent resistance, guaranteeing durability and low maintenance cost.
