Volunteer With Us

Volunteers play a crucial role in helping to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke. There are many different ways to volunteer with us and we will work with you to find the right fit. You can volunteer in our office in Centennial, Colorado helping us with daily, on-the-ground projects. You can also volunteer with us from your hometown by hosting a stroke awareness event. We offer internships in many of our departments for those looking to gain professional experience at a nationally recognized nonprofit.

In 2016 we launched the Comeback Trail Series. For the first time, the stroke community had an opportunity to come together to raise stroke awareness and celebrate survivorship by walking or running together on the Comeback Trail. In 2017, the series will include four additional cities.

We have a variety of tasks available to volunteers who live near our office in Centennial, CO ranging from data entry to research projects to fulfillment assistance. Our volunteers always set their own schedules and determine how many hours they want to commit.

Our internships offer real world experience in many different areas and allow young professionals to gain the skills they’re looking for to build their skills and resume. As the only national nonprofit dedicated 100% on stroke, we offer a unique perspective into the nonprofit health space.
