The Volunteers

Like you, our Stroke Help Line volunteers have experienced stroke in their lives.

Charles Louis              Hours: Mondays and Fridays, 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. MT

I understand the un-understandable (I don't think that is a word!). When the survivor or caregiver finds out that I am a stroke survivor, the conversation changes, because even though I don't know them, I know them. I love that!

Devorah Hershkovich              Hours: Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. MT

I love to listen! I'm here to help with resources and directing you to forms of support. I have volunteered on another hotline and have had family members experience a stroke. Whether stroke has affected you, a family member, a client, or a friend, call in to gain more information. You don't have to be alone, and we can help you with any fears and concerns you might be experiencing.
