Variants of the KUKA flexibleCUBE arc

The compact welding cell KUKA flexibleCUBE C-DP 05 is equipped with a rotary positioner with a payload capacity of 100 kilograms per side. The mounting surface on each side of the table is approximately 1,600 millimeters wide and 800 millimeters deep. On completion of welding, the table can be rotated manually by the operator in approximately four to five seconds.

The compact welding cell KUKA flexibleCUBE C-DP 05 is equipped with the manual, pneumatically assisted DP-250 M rotary positioner, which has a payload capacity of 250 kilograms per side. The mounting surface on each side of the table is approximately 1,600 millimeters wide and 800 millimeters deep. On completion of welding, the locking mechanism is automatically released and the table can be rotated manually by the operator, with pneumatic assistance, in approximately four to five seconds. This cell variant is equipped with an automatic rotary positioner with a payload capacity of 250 kilograms per side. The mounting surface on each side of the table is also approximately 1,600 millimeters wide and 800 millimeters deep. On completion of welding, the operator issues the enable signal to rotate the table automatically in approximately three seconds. A light barrier safeguards the loading area and guarantees protection of the operator. The compact welding cell KUKA flexibleCUBE C-DK 05 is equipped with a DKP tilt-turn positioner with 400 kilogram payload capacity. The workspace is approximately 500 millimeters wide, 500 millimeters deep and 800 millimeters high. The rotational axis can be pivoted through approximately 90° rotated though approximately 190°. With its loading station and the high flexibility offered by the two degrees of freedom of the positioner, this cell variant is particularly suitable for small to medium-volume production of complex components which need to be repositioned several times.

The KUKA flexibleCUBE C-DK 05 is equipped with a dual tilt-turn positioner with 400 kilogram payload capacity on each side. The horizontal tilting axis can be pivoted through approximately 90°, while the vertical rotational axis can be turned though approximately 190°. The operator loads and unloads one side of the dual tilt-turn positioner while the robot simultaneously carries out welding inside the cell. Therefore, this welding cell is particularly suitable for medium to high production volumes. Furthermore, the automatic rotation of the positioner creates the necessary conditions for the operation of multiple machines.
