My applicant account

  • How do I create an account?

    It only takes 30 seconds to create an account! Click on "Register now" and select a user name and password. You will need to read and agree with the terms and conditions for your account to be created. You will then immediately be able to save job searches, receive email alerts and submit your application!

  • Why do I need to create an account?

    Having an account enables you to save your job searches, view all your applications and save time when you submit a new application. Create one now — it only takes 30 seconds!

  • Who has access to my personal data?

    The information you provide may be shared with various departments at Saint-Gobain, so that all our recruiters can see your profile and contact you, if necessary.

  • Are the personal data in my account protected?

    Information provided by applicants is password-protected and encrypted. This information is used solely within Saint-Gobain, for recruitment purposes only.

  • How do I delete my account?

    You cannot delete your account directly on the website; write to us at the attached address and enclose a copy of your ID card.

  • How long will my account remain active?

    Your account will remain active as long as your continue to use it. It will be automatically deleted if you do not use it for one year. You also have the option of sending a deletion request by mail.

My jobs search and application

  • How do I apply for a job opening?

    Use the search settings to find the job openings that interest you, then click on the "Apply" button to access the form. Fill out all the fields, because your application will also be added to our database, which means that it could be seen by other recruiters for different job openings.

  • How do I create a job alert?

    When you are logged in, you can save a search and use it as a "search assistant" by entering your email address. You may have up to five search assistants at any one time.

  • What happens to my application after it is submitted?

    Both unsolicited applications and applications for specific positions are reviewed and processed by our recruiters. Your application will also be added to our database, so that our recruiters will be able to find it if one of their openings matches your criteria. Your application will be stored in the database for one year.

  • Is there a limit to the number of applications I can submit?

    No, there is no limit. You can apply for several openings at Saint-Gobain. You will find your application history in "My Account."

  • Am I required to include a cover letter?

    You are not required to include a cover letter, but certain recruiters may request one in the job posting. And if you submit an unsolicited application, it is best to explain what you are looking for. The only way to do so is to provide a cover letter!

  • I cannot find any openings that match my criteria. What should I do?

    Trying creating an email alert when you save your search, so that you will be informed when an opening matching your criteria is posted. You can also submit an unsolicited application. Make sure to specify what type of job you are seeking in a cover letter.

  • I applied for a position but was unsuccessful. May I submit another application?

    You are welcome to apply for other openings that interest you. The site will even make the process easier for you by copying certain information from your previous applications.

  • Do you reply to all applications?

    All applicants receive a delivery notification for each application they submit. Each application is then carefully reviewed, but not all applicants receive further contact. If you have not received any news in four weeks, you should consider your application unsuccessful. It will, however, remain in our database.

  • I sent my application but I didn't receive delivery confirmation.

    You should have received a delivery notification after submitting your application. Please submit your application again at a later time.

  • I would like to know if my application has been processed.

    When you submit an application, you should receive a delivery notification. The recruiter handling the job opening will contact you if your application has been selected for the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

  • I am unable to submit my application due to a technical problem.

    Our site is compatible with most web browsers. However, technical issues may arise with some browsers. If this occurs, try submitting your application again using a different browser.

  • I am unable to submit my application because I can no longer find the job opening.

    Job openings are posted for a set amount of time determined by the recruiter. When applications are no longer being accepted for an opening, it is removed from our site. However, certain third-party sites (e.g. job boards and university websites) may take more time to remove the posting. If this occurs, applicants are redirected to the search page rather than to the job description. This means that the position has already been filled.

  • How do I contact a recruiter?

    Recruiters are always first to make contact. You will be contacted by email or telephone if your application is selected for the next stage of the process.

  • How do I delete an application from your database?

    It is not possible to delete an application from the applicant site. However, French laws on the protection of personal data grant you the right to access, amend, rectify and delete your personal data. You can exercise this right by sending us a written request, along with a copy of your ID card.
