Saint-Gobain encompasses 12 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
 

Saint-Gobain started its operations in CIS in the early 1990s. Saint-Gobain CIS employs more than 1 800 people. The company is represented by 2 sectors: Innovative Materials  and Construction Products. Saint-Gobain has 8 production facilities in the region including a joint venture for stone wool insulation in Tambov and a joint venture for flat glass production in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Since 2012, Saint-Gobain has been actively developing the R&D area in Russia: Saint-Gobain Academy (opened in November 2013 in Moscow) and WEBER R&D Center (opened in October 2015 in Yegorievsk of Moscow region).
