Shipping Supervisor North Phoenix
General Description:
The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to shipping employees while ensuring shipping goals and safety standards are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the Shipping and Operations Management team to ensure goals are met in a timely and safe manner.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Monitor pickers’ and packers’ productivity and accuracy.
• Review employee performance and take corrective action as needed.
• Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.
• Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities and directing work of subordinate employees.
• Carry out order picking and putaway operations.
• Perform computer functions necessary to process domestic and international shipments.
• Make arrangements for carrier pick up as specified on pick ticket.
• Maintain accurate inventories.
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in the Shipping Department.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to learn and use the company ERP, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, SPS Commerce EDI software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.
• Writing skills necessary to communicate by email, draft instructions and complete written documentation.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Minimum 2 years parcel shipping, pick and pack experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.

• Ensure written instructions are drafted, maintained, and complied with.
• Assist in establishing and monitoring performance standards.
• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.

• Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions and recommending action.

General Description:
Responsible for performing sewing machine setup, trouble shooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform machine setup, trouble shooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Make unscheduled repairs on production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine servicing.
• Perform mechanical work including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, troubleshooting /repair of production equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals in order to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
• Assist in training sewing machine operators in proper setup and operation of machines.
• Comply with safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Skills/Qualifications:
• 1+ years experience with industrial sewing machine setup, trouble shooting, repair and maintenance.
• In depth knowledge of industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and facilities.
• Make unscheduled repairs on production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicing.
• Perform simple machinist duties.
• Perform mechanical work including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting /repair of production equipment and facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals in order to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Perform various plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.
• Perform basic welding tasks.
• Comply with safety rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
The Following Abilities are a Plus:
• In depth knowledge of single and three phase electrical.
• Industrial sewing machine repair.
• Bilingual English / Spanish.
